Dear Ms Berlow,

Freedom of Information Act (2000) - Request for Information

I write following our closure letter, date 17 September 2009, reference FOI/2009/0404/CLO and your subsequent email.

Further to your email please see our response below:

'please could you categorise the reasons for the other 4 children as you only gave a reason for one of them. As none of my categories seem to fit, please could you explain how you categorise concerns?'

The 1 response in our previous disclosure referred to 1 family.

For the remaining children please see our response below:

1 example where the difficulty was seeing any evidence of education being provided.

2 examples where the children were doing English and Maths but nothing else.

In all these cases, more frequent visits were made to try and obtain some evidence, and to suggest a more varied approach eg portfolio, projects, photographs, storyboards, videoing, etc.
