FOI request regarding Social Worker Post

I am responding to your enquiry regarding the recruitment process for the Social Worker posts recently advertised with a closing date of the 25th June 2009.

I will respond to each of your points in turn:-

  1. We received 19 applications

  1. 5 applicants were shortlisted

  1. The questions used by the Panel were as follows:-

I enclose a copy of the template used by the Panel to record and evaluate responses.

  1. I enclose a copy of the template used to shortlist applicants

5. 3 applicants were appointed. 2 were agency staff currently with the

Authority and one was external.

  1. No paper based exercise was used for this post.

  1. The interview panel consisted of 3 Team Managers from Children's

Social Care and a Children's Panel
