Blaby DC FOI request - Parking Ticket data

Blaby District Council started car parking enforcement in February 2005. Between then and June 2007 enforcement continued for Blaby DC car parks only - on street enforcement was carried out by Leicestershire Constabulary, and one Parking Attendant was employed by Blaby DC.

From July 2007 to the present, parking enforcement is carried out by Harborough District Council on behalf of Blaby District Council, and the notice processing function is carried out by Leicestershire County Council (for both on and off street offences).

Below are the figures from February 2005 - June 2007 which are the only ones that Blaby DC hold. The others will be available from Harborough District Council or Leicestershire County Council.

With regard to point 2 - There is no reward or bonus scheme in operation with regard to parking enforcement officers.

All parking enforcement officers are employed by Harborough District Council, Council Offices, Adam and Eve Street, Market Harborough, Leicestershire LE16 7AG.

The computer software / hardware is supplied by Chipside Ltd.

All Notice Processing functions are carried out by the Notice Processing Unit, Leicestershire County Council, County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester. LE3 8TG
