Please note: the figures provided relate to the offence of “unnecessary obstruction”. This offence encompasses a variety of offences such as parking on the pavement, double parking, parking too close to a junction etc. and it should be noted that the offence of “unnecessary obstruction” does not relate solely to parking on the pavement. The only way to isolate this particular offence would be to manually check each ticket, this task would clearly exceed the time/cost limits stipulated by the Act.
The figures provided relate to the relevant calendar years and for the year 2009 cover the first six months of the year until the end of June 09. |
