Freedom of Information Act 2000 Request for Information
I am writing in respect of your enquiry dated 29 July 2009 for information held by the
Council. Your enquiry is being dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

You requested information as follows
1) How many planning applications has the Council received featuring a
change of use from A1?
2) Of those applications in 1, how many of these were retrospective?
3) How many planning applications has the Council received from
Starbucks (or their representatives) featuring a change of use from A1?
4) Of those applications in 3, how many of these were retrospective?

The following information is provided free of charge in response to your enquiry.
1) Between 1 July 2004 and the present day, the Council received 32
planning applications featuring a change of use from A1. Details of the
applications are set out in the attached table.
2) Of those applications in 1, one of these was retrospective
(08/01654/COU).
3) No planning applications were received from Starbucks (or their
representatives) featuring a change of use from A1.
4) Not applicable.

The Reuse of Public Sector Information Regulations came into force on 1 st July 2005.

information is available for reuse.
All documents registered within the Council's Publication Scheme (with the exception of
those documents where charges apply) are available for reuse on the terms of the
Licence to Reproduce Public Sector Information. No reuse fee is charged under this
licence.

The Council’s standard Licence to Reproduce Public Sector Information applies.
Reuse of Information for Commercial Gain
If you intend to reuse the material for commercial gain then you must write to the
relevant Department or author of the material concerned, giving full details of your
proposed use of the material, including whether you intend to publish and sell the
material as part of your product. You will be advised of any charge due to be paid in
these circumstances and the terms of a specific licence for reuse for commercial
