Dear Mr White

Re: Freedom of Information Act Request

Further to your requested dated 29th July I am writing to advise you that the
information you have requested is already publically available. You request is
therefore refused under section 21(1) of the Freedom of Information Act.

I can advise you that the information is available at the link below which allows you
to complete an application search of all planning applications. By leaving all fields
blank you will be able to review all applications received by the authority. The
“development description” will state if a change of us has occurred. You can then
access the full planning application which will confirm if the application is
retrospective.

Using this feature you will be able to access details of any planning applications
made by Starbucks, the Council is unaware of any representatives names however if
you have these available you will be able to search against these names also.

The Council considers that the above response fully complies with the requirements
placed on the Council under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) 2000 but a
person making a request for information under the FOIA 2000 may complain to the
Review Officer if they are dissatisfied with the Council’s response.  Details regarding
the complaints procedure may be obtained from the Monitoring Officer at the Council
Offices in Benfleet.

Yours sincerely,
