Information request
I refer to your request for information made of the Learning and Skills Council
(LSC), when you asked to be supplied with “the complete data set held on
eMandate for the past 3 years for all colleges in England (i.e.
2006-7, 2007-8, 2008/9)”.
The LSC has undertaken a search and can advise that it holds the complete data
set that you have requested. The LSC also considers that the data are held by the
LSC subject to the copyright of the various suppliers of the data. The LSC has
therefore sought further guidance from the Information Commissioner’s Office.
The LSC will supply you with the data set requested for your own use. However,
in order to ensure that the LSC does not breach any copyright in the data, I shall
be grateful if you will supply the LSC with a postal address to which the data can
be sent.
If you do not wish to supply an address through the What Do They Know public
website, I shall be grateful if you will email the details requested to the email
