Dear Mr White
Thank you for your email received by Transport for London (TfL) on 12 May
2011, asking for the written and phone complaints for bus routes 146 and
246 between the periods of August 2003-August 2004 and January
2010-January 2011.
As advised in our emails of 9 March 2011, in line with section 12 of the
Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOI) we aggregated the time spent
answering your fourteen requests of 8 December 2010 to 24 January 2011 and
found it to exceed the appropriate limit of £450 (18 hours' work).
Based on this we declined to answer the fourteen requests received, and
advised that any further requests received within a 60 day timeframe would
also be considered under section 12.
We should have made it clear in our original email that these are working
days, not including weekends or bank holidays. As such, this request we
received from you on 12 May 2011 fall within the 60 working day period,
which will end on 9 June 2011. We will therefore not be responding to this
request, or any others received before 10 June 2011. Any FOI requests
received after this date will be considered in accordance with the Act.
Please accept my apologies for any ambiguity of our previous emails and if
you would like to discuss this matter further, please feel free to contact
me.
Yours sincerely
