(iv) S28(3) expenses and allowances;

(v) S29(6) paying for advice;

(vi) S29(6A) appointing and paying for a mediator;

(vii) S29(8) certifying contempt;

(viii) S30(1B) statement of reasons instead of a report of a completed investigation;

(ix) S31, S31A and S31B further reports and/or procedures in relation to Statements and/or publications;

  1. S33 consultation with PCA, HSC, PSOW or SPSO;

  2. S33(ZA) collaborative working with PCA or HSC;

  3. Schedule 4.4(3) and 4.4(6) allocation of staff and delegation to PHSO staff;

  4. Schedule 4.13 delegation of functions to any person.

Assistant Ombudsmen All functions delegated to Investigators, plus:

(i) S26A(2)(b) agreeing to someone `suitable';

(ii) S28(3) expenses and allowances;

(iii) S33 consultation with PCA, HSC, PSOW or SPSO.

Deputy Ombudsmen All functions delegated to Assistant Ombudsmen, plus:

  1. S29(6) paying for advice;

  2. S29(6A) appointing and paying for a mediator;

  3. S30(1) making a report;

  4. S30(1B) statement of reasons instead of a report of a completed investigation;

  5. S33(ZA) collaborative working with PCA or HSC;

  6. Schedule 4.4(3) and 4.4(6) allocation of staff and delegation to PHSO staff;

  7. Schedule 4.13 delegation of functions to any person.
