Annex A
Dear Ms Foulkes
I am writing regarding your request for information, which was received on 25th July. In that request, you asked “how many part time nurses joined Pension Scheme in 1983 to 2003 in Warrington, Cheshire”.
Unfortunately, I am unable to proceed with your request without clarification of the information you wish to receive. To help me do so, I would like to know What Pension Scheme you are referring to; do you mean the State Pension or a private pension specifically for nurses?
Please note that if I do not receive appropriate clarification of your information requirements within three months from the date of this letter, then I will consider your request closed.
If you wish to discuss any of the above, please contact me. Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future communications.
If you are not satisfied with the handling of your request please tell us why, to the email address above, within two calendar months of the date of this letter. DWP will then arrange for someone to conduct an internal review of your request and its handling/decision. The review will be conducted by a senior officer. This person will have taken no part in the original decision. You will be advised of their decision in writing.
If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review you have the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner to look into the way your request has been handled. Please note that generally the Commissioner cannot make a decision unless you have first exhausted DWP's own complaints procedure. The Commissioner can be contacted at:
