Dear Mr Wakenshaw
Freedom of Information Act (2000) - Request for Information
I write following our acknowledgement letter, dated 9 July 2009. Please find below our response to your Freedom of Information request:
Could you please provide me with the following statistics:
How many on-the-spot fines were made in the last two years?
We have not served any fines for dogs not being on a lead in a dog control area where they should be on leads because we always ask the owners to put their dogs on the lead first and they always do without the need to serve a fixed penalty notice. The same goes for asking people to remove their dogs from a dog ban area.
We have however served 3 fixed penalty notices for dog fouling
How many dog owners were prosecuted through courts in the last two years?
