Thurrock Council's Anti-Social Behaviour Team has received one complaint of Anti-Social Behaviour on or about the footpath between Langthorne Crescent and Bradleigh Avenue, Grays.
In addition to the report which has been logged as an incident of Anti-Social Behaviour, Thurrock Council is aware of a far larger number of incidents of Anti-Social Behaviour reported to the police as well as incidents of graffiti and vandalism which have been dealt with by the Council.
Details of these incidents can be found in a report to Thurrock Council's Cabinet dated 11 June 2008, "Proposal to make a Gating Order in respect of Footpath 129 between College Avenue and Bradleigh Avenue, Grays" and the supporting information set out in the Appendices.
Appendix 1a, 1b and 1c are reports from Essex Police and set out information about Police involvement as a result of reports of incidents of anti-social behaviour at this location. Paragraph 5 of the letter from the Council's Transportation Manager, Ed Vokes, to Councillor Yash Gupta, (Appendix 2d) gives information about the number of incidents of graffiti. For further information, please refer to the following web-link: http://democracy.thurrock.gov.uk/CMISWebPublic/Meeting.aspx?meetingID=1563
If you are unhappy with the Council's decision you can make a complaint via the Council's complaints procedures and this will be looked into. If you are not happy with this decision you may then appeal to the Information Commissioner.
