Dear Ms Daly,
Thank you for your request for information received by Central Bedfordshire
Council on the 1 July 2009 in which you requested information about the
following figures for home educated children:
1. Number of electively home educated children known to your LA.
2. Number of electively home educated children who have a care plan
in
place due to concerns of abuse.
In response to your request, we can confirm the following:
1. The number of electively home educated children is 112.
2. The number of electively home educated children who have a care plan
in place due to abuse is nil.
