Dear Mr Nunn
Information Provided under the Freedom of Information Act
Thank you for your e-mail of 26 June requesting a copy of any and all documentation/information/meeting notes used by us when constructing the Government response to the e-petition of 17 July 2008 `Making Local Government Ombudsman's recommendations legally enforceable'. Your request has been considered under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
I am writing to advise you that on 11 November 2008 Steve McAllister e mailed the LGO asking if compliance in 2007-2008 was 100%, as we understood it was in 2006-2007. The LGO e mailed back to confirm it was. There are no letters or meeting notes.

This also explains your right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision in the event that you remain dissatisfied following the authority's review

Yours sincerely
