Thank you for your request for information that was logged on 26 June 2009. You have requested the following information:

When asked why these CEOs were taking flyers off bikes that did not belong to them and indeed were not addressed to them, I was told that they had been instructed to do so by the City Council. Would you please advise whether the above statement is correct and if so, who in the City Council instructed CEOs to carry out such activity? I am after the name of the individual(s) involved, not simply the department(s) concerned.

In response to your request I can advise you of the following:

Concerning motorcycle parking places/spaces, NSL Ltd (the City Council's on-street enforcement contractor) have been instructed to remove stickers or notices from posts and signs. They have not been instructed by Westminster City Council to remove advertising, stickers or notices from motorcycles.
