Freedom of Information Act 2000: Birth Certificate 
 
Thank you for your enquiry dated 19 June and received on 22 June 2009.  
You stated your assertion that “there are at birth 2 certificates of birth one for a 
natural entity/person and one for a legal entity/person.” 

 
You then went on to ask: “I would like all documentation on how the legal 
entity/person can claim the interest incurred on the account of the legal entity/person 
or liquidate that account.” 

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 provides individuals with a right to request 
recorded information held by a public authority. I can confirm that HM Treasury does 
not hold any information matching the description of your request or any information 
relating to the concepts you describe.
