Re: Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 – Request for Information 
 
Thank you for your email which was received by the University on 19 June 2009 timed 0916 
hours, requesting the following: 
 
Your request: 
 
 
Can you please tell me the annual increase in the aggregate salaries (including all benefits in 
kind, pension contributions and other similar payments) of the University Principal, the 
University Financial Director and the University Secretary for each of the following years: 
 
Year ended 31 July 2004; 
Year ended 31 July 2005; 
Year ended 31 July 2006; 
Year ended 31 July 2007; 
Year ended 31 July 2008 
 
 
Please provide clarification of what is meant by ‘pension contributions’. 
 
Until we receive clarification, the University will consider this information request to be 
suspended. The 20 working days to respond will commence when we receive your 
clarification.  
 
If we do not hear from you within one month of the date of this letter we will assume that you 
are no longer seeking access to this information and the University will take no further action.
