Section 38 – Health and Safety, Section 41 - Information Provided in Confidence and
Section 43 - Commercial Interests
These exemptions have been applied to Chapter 3
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder and Chapter 5
Protection of Children from Harm
These chapters give in-depth detail about measures which would be taken in certain
circumstances.
The Council is of the opinion that disclosing such information could potentially prejudice
commercial interests and prevent Glastonbury Festivals Limited from complying with the
conditions of the licence.
These exemptions have been applied to ensure the health and safety of all individuals
attending the Glastonbury Festivals.
The Council has considered the public interest and is of the opinion that the maintaining the
exemption outweighs the public interest in its disclosure.
