Dear I Peroll

Re: Freedom of Information Request

Thank you for your recent request, which was received on 19th June 2009 requesting the following:

1 (a) Please supply the figures that relate to Cafcass receiving complaints with regards to concerns relating to 'forced adoptions' i.e. without parental consent.

(b) In particular how many replies have been sent to the thousands of desperate families, parents, grandparents etc trying to save their heritage from being destroyed forever, behind the closed doors of family courts, away from the public gaze.

2 (a) How many parents have given prior consent for adoption of their children versus how many parents objected but still had their parental rights removed i.e. 'forced adoption'; include figures relating to how many children in each group on a yearly basis.

(b) How many family members have committed suicide after losing their children to 'forced adoption' i.e. where children were taken without the prior consent of the parents for adoption.

(c) Any and all figures where mothers have committed suicide or had an abortion through fear of losing their children to 'forced adoption'

3 Please clarify from what period Amanda Barden (Guardian) worked within Kent County Council prior to becoming a Guardian and which position's were held.
