M25a Interview Scoring Form |
This form contains a list of those criteria, both essential and desirable, which have been listed on the Employee Specification Form (M23) and remain to be identified during the interview itself.
Section 1 - lists essential criteria which must not be scored.
Section 2 - lists desirable criteria which must be scored using the scoring scale.
0 - fails to meet; 1 - meets partially; 2 - meets fully.
Each Panel Member completes an Interview Selection Form for each candidate after each interview. This is an individual assessment and should be completed without discussion. The assessment should take into account all the information that is available, ie application form, performance at interview, references, test results, etc
Under no circumstances should new criteria be introduced.
At the end of the interviews the Panel Members should compare scores for each candidate and, by discussion, agree a composite for each candidate in order to arrive at a decision.
Points to remember:
If a candidate fails to demonstrate that he/she possesses any essential criteria identified on the Employee Specification then he/she must be eliminated from any further consideration.
Do not evaluate candidates on criteria which have not been stated on the Employee Specification.
Decide whether the candidate can comply with any special requirements inherent in the post.
Complete the form accordingly.
Retain the M25a Interview Scoring form together with any interview notes for at least six months after the recruitment process for the vacancy has been completed ie appointed to.
