Re: Your request for information: Ref No. 2965
I am writing further to your request for information dated 22 July 2008 to advise you that
we have now completed our search for the information you requested:
"Please could you provide me with a copy of all the Designated Public Place
Orders made by your authority under sections 12 to 16 of the Police and Criminal
Justice Act 2001 and which are currently in force, together with a copy of any
maps which show the extent of the area covered by each order?"
As requested please find enclosed a copy of the Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001,
Alcohol Consumption in Designated Public Places Order 2001 pertaining to Southwark
together with attaching map and a copy of the Public Notice. Please note the areas
referred to as “shaded blue” are the Conservative wards of College, East Dulwich and
Village. Currently this is the only Order operational in Southwark and is made under
section 13(2) of the said Act.
This information is being provided as a statutory obligation under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000.
