I write further to our email correspondence of the 26th June 2009 and in regards to
your request for copies of correspondence between the Home Office and Patricia
Hewitt MP that concerned Phorm, 121 Media, Webwise, British Telecom and/or
Deep Packet Inspection Advertising.
Your request has been handled as a request for information under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 (the Act).
After a thorough search, I regret to inform you that the Home Office does not hold
the information you have requested. We have conducted thorough searches that
have covered the whole of the department
but we have not identified any information
that falls within the scope of your request. I am sorry that we are therefore unable to
help you with your research in this area.
I realise that this response may be a disappointment to you. However I would like to
assure you that a thorough search was conducted and that I am confident that we do
not hold the information that you have requested.
