GREENWICH TOWN CENTRE - PROHIBITION OF DRINKING ALCOHOL IN PUBLIC |
The Community Safety Manager introduced the report informing Members that the date of the order coming into force was omitted from the report pending the result of a court case which was to clarify whether 28 days was `calendar' or `working days'. This was established to be calendar days therefore, the date of commencement of the ban should the Committee decide to approve it, would be 4 February 2004, which was 28 days from the date of this meeting. |

Councillor Mills enquired whether Park Vista was included. The Community Safety Manager said that road was not included but the ban could be extended to include Park Vista or other roads at a later date. |
