FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT REQUEST NO 440/2009-1569

  1. What is your procedure regarding placing a job vacancy advert for any positions within your FoI/DP/Information Governance Departments? Specifically do you have a contract with an external recruitment agency. If so, please provide me with the company name, address and the job title of the person who would be your chief contact.

  1. Please provide me with a breakdown of the total costs charged to you the last time you advertised such a vacancy and please provide me with a list of the publications that the advert appeared in, the title of the job vacancy and the number of applicants that applied.

The Information Management and Human Resources Departments have provided the following information:

  1. What is your procedure regarding placing a job vacancy advert for any positions within your FoI/DP/Information Governance Departments? Specifically do you have a contract with an external recruitment agency. If so, please provide me with the company name, address and the job title of the person who would be your chief contact.

Devon and Cornwall Constabulary has recruited its staff for the FOI/DP/Information Governance for the past seven years using a process of internal and external advertising. External adverts are currently placed on the Force Website, and only in specific cases would the force consider backing this with an advert on a specialist website or in the local press.

In relation to the FOI/DP/Information Governance areas the Constabulary has not used an external recruitment agency.

  1. Please provide me with a breakdown of the total costs charged to you the last time you advertised such a vacancy and please provide me with a list of the publications that the advert appeared in, the title of the job vacancy and the number of applicants that applied.
