Dear Mr Jackson

Thank you for your Freedom of Information request received on 3 June 2009. You asked for:-

  1. figures of the number of dismissals each year from the New Deal programme, with data specific to areas and type (VSO, NDYP, ND25+) etc.up until April 2009 since records began.

  2. the total number of people participating per year since records started on the New Deal scheme

Information to answer part 1 of your question is not available. Information to answer part 2 of your request is unavailable in the format requested however New Deal statistics are available on the Department's website and should provide you with some information. The link is below:
