Dear Mr Batsworth
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION
We refer our previous correspondence in relation to this enquiry, specifically
our initial response dated 1 July 2009 and our most recent letter to you dated
11 August 2009.
Please find attached the ODA’s initial tranche of information relating to
Construction Hotline Call logs from January 2009 – May 2009 (Annex A).
Please note that on many occasions the ODA has replaced caller names with
the word “caller” and the names of the External Relations team who
responded to an enquiry with the works “External Relations Team”. We
believe that this is justified in terms of Section 40 of the Freedom of
Information Act and as set out in Item 4 of our response dated 1 July 2009.
We thank you for your patience in this matter and continue to process the
information relevant to your request as per our letter of 11 August. We also
thank you for your email of 17 August 2009 in which you agree to the ODA’s
timetable of a full response to this enquiry as set out in our letter of 11 August

rely on the Section 40 FOIA exemption in relation to individuals names.
However, any future requests for this information should be requested through
the FOIA route and submitted to the Information Officer.
We trust that the information provided is of assistance to you. However, if you
are not satisfied with the response to your request and wish to make a
complaint, you should write to The Information Officer, Olympic Delivery
