Mr John Simpson

By email: [FOI #12709 email]

Freedom of Information request: 0835-09

Thank you for your email to the Freedom of Information team in which you asked:

`does the British Embassy in the United States of America hold any records of corrections to American media organisations (Such as Fox News, CNN, CBS, ABC) use of the term "Queen of England" when talking about Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.'

The British Embassy in Washington does not undertake interventions with US media organisations to ensure that their programmes and publications use the correct titles for HM, and accordingly hold no records of this nature.

Yours sincerely,
