[FOI Request 2009/92 – F0060903]
Dear Mr Seaman,
Re: Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 – Request for Information
Thank you for your email which was received by the University on 29 June 2009 timed 11:42
hours requesting a Review of our actions, as detailed below.
I am writing to request an internal review of University of Glasgow's handling of my FOI
request 'Appointment of Administrators'.
I wish to query the accuracy of your response " The Director of Student Services is a
new title that has been conferred on an existing member of staff who is undertaking
additional management responsibilities. This is not a new post and therefore was not
advertised." Based on what criteria have you judged this post not to be new? What
criteria determines whether a position is a new post or is simply granted a new title?
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at
this address: http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/appointment_of_administrators
The University acknowledges receipt of your Request for a Review and confirms that it will
respond to you within the time scales required by the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act
2002 and will contact you if the University requires any further information.
Yours sincerely,
