Thank you for your correspondence dated 25 June 2009; I acknowledge your concerns regarding the above. I understand from your correspondence that you are unhappy about the response you received.

You have requested preliminary emails between Cherie Willers and the London Chamber of Commerce Industry and all emails released, however I can confirm that all emails have been sent to you and there was no preliminary email. The "any update" query was sent as a follow up after a telephone conversation between the two parties, and so the reference to an update would be in reference to this earlier telephone conversation.

Thank you for bringing this matter to my attention. I trust I have clarified the City Council's position.
