Thank you New West End Company,

As discussed please find below the statement from the London Chamber of Commerce.

Chief executive of the London Chamber of Commerce said: ``Whilst we acknowledge the right to make a peaceful protest, we would make a plea to those thinking of demonstrating to do their utmost to avoid any disruption to the capital's roads and hence its businesses at a time when the economy is being hardest hit by the recession. London firms can ill afford any more problems, particularly those that could be avoided.''

We intend to issue something on the morning of the protest along the lines that we discussed and would welcome a line from NWEC that could be included.
