Changes to LGO areas
Purpose of paper
To seek the Commission's formal approval for changes to LGO areas agreed by LGOs outside the Commission meeting.
Background
The Commission's approval is required by Section 26(8) LGA 1974, which provides that `The Commission for Local Administration in England shall divide England into areas and shall provide, in relation to each area, for one or more of the Local Commissioners to be responsible for the area.”
