Re: Freedom of Information request – Holding response.  
 
I write with reference to your email of May 21st 2009 in which you request a copy of the report referred 
to in between items 12(c)and 12(d) of the agenda for the council meeting of 19/05/09. 
 
The information which you have requested requires that we perform a public interest test in order to 
determine whether disclosure of the information is in the public interest.  
 
Please accept my apologies for the delay in my response. We have approached the Information 
Commissioner’s Office and our legal service on a specific point related to this request and as yet, have 
not received the clarification we have sought. I believe that we need an additional 10 working days to 
obtain this clarification and consider the public interest in order to make sure that we release as much 
information as possible. I apologise for the length of time that this process is taking and hope that this 
delay hasn’t caused you any inconvenience. 
 
We hope to conclude the public interest testing and be able to respond to you by 3rd July 2009. Whilst 
we will make every effort to complete this test within this timescale, if we are unable to complete the 
public interest test within this timescale, I will write to you again to keep you updated.  
 
I hope this information is helpful, however, if you are unhappy with the service you have received in 
relation to your request and wish to make a complaint or request a review of our decision, you should

If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you have the right to apply directly to the
