  • The general public interest in disclosure

  • General public interest in the transparency of government

The request involves disclosure of information which is exempt under Section 38 (Health and Safety) and Section 31 (Law Enforcement)

  • If locations are disclosed it can lead to the disclosure of areas where no CCTV coverage is which can create hot spots for criminal / anti social activity.

  • These areas would develop into places were members of the public would avoid on the grounds of Physical harm & Safety with the likelihood of constant harassment and endangerment.

  • Disclosure would hinder the prevention and detection of crime and the apprehension and prosecution of offenders.
