Mr P Brodie

Dear Mr Brodie
Freedom of Information Request
As you know the collection of crime statistics is a matter undertaken by the police rather than the Council. I have been able to obtain a copy of a report from the Greater Manchester Against Crime Central Team and I enclose the parts of that report which relate to Encombe Place. I apologise for the delay in disclosing this report but, as you may know, Greater Manchester Against Crime is a partnership body and there were concerns expressed by a partner as to whether it was appropriate to release this document in response to a freedom of information request.
If you are dissatisfied with the way your request has been handled, or wish to appeal this decision, you may wish to contact Anthony Rich, City Solicitor and Corporate Complaints Officer, email address: [email address].
Details on how to lodge an appeal can be found at www.salford.gov.uk
If you are still dissatisfied following any internal appeal, you may wish to contact the Office of the Information Commissioner, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF - www.ico.uk Tel: 01625 545700.
Yours sincerely
Anthony Rich
