Thank you for your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (“the Act”) dated 
15/7/08 asking: 
 
“Please list all MPs and AMs who have attended events at the Millennium Stadium in 2008, 
including sporting events and concerts (please specify which events).” 
 
The list below details all MPs and AMs who accepted invitations by BBC Wales to the events listed 
and attended and, naturally, the full guest list of people who were invited to these events was 
much wider.

It is also possible that other divisions of the BBC invited MPs and AMs to events at the Millennium 
Stadium during 2008 but we estimate that to investigate this possibility and find these details we 
would need to contact every BBC department individually.  As such, I estimate this exercise would 
take more than two and a half days; under section 12 of the Act, we are allowed to refuse to 
handle the request if it would exceed the appropriate limit.. The appropriate limit has been set by 
the Regulations (SI 2004/3244) as being £450 (equivalent to two and a half days work, at an hourly 
rate of £25).
