Request for Information under Freedom of Information Act 2000
I refer to your request for information of 8 May. This asked for:
1) Total expenditure (if any) by Cardiff Council on Common Purpose courses for each of the following years: 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 to date.
2) A copy of the invoice (if any) for each Common Purpose course paid for by the Council.
3) A list of names of all elected members of the Council who have attended Common Purpose courses during the above years.
Payments by the Council to Common Purpose during the relevant period are shown below. The dates are the transaction dates shown in our records.

The above amounts include VAT where applicable. Where I have been able to supply copies of invoices, I have redacted any names of Council staff. I can tell you that no elected members of the Council attended any of the courses paid for by the Council.
