Dear Jonnie of Brixton -



Thank you for your email of 23rd May raising a complaint about how your
Freedom of Information request has been handled. Please treat this
response as an internal review of the original decision not to disclose.



I can confirm that we had previously disclosed a list of empty
properties that were not owned by Individuals. However, following that
disclosure and given the increasing levels of unauthorised occupancy of
Council properties in the borough, we are of the view that the public
interest would not be served by the disclosure under FOI of an up to
date list of empty property addresses (which would need to be extracted
from our Council Tax system). I am therefore upholding the original
decision not to provide a list of properties for the reasons set out in
the Council's Information Officer, Ian Goodwin's, email to you.



You do have a right to appeal this decision to the Information
