Thank you for your e-mail received on 3rd May 2009.
In response to your request - `NRUC Vetting and Barring', please find below our responses.
Further to research conducted by fipr, commissioned by the ICO, can you please email a denial or confirmation that: Anyone who has access to child records on NRUC must have an Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau?
Staff employed by the London Asylum Seekers Consortium (LASC), with access to the NRUC have an Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.
Local authorities and other users which have access to NRUC are subject to approval of their employer, and any agency seeking access to the NRUC is responsible for securing an Enhanced Disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.
