NRUC Regional Training
All agree that whilst the training was successful, future events should be scaled down from 11 to 5 regional sessions. The full day - training in the morning/personal workload afternoon - format will be reused.
Feedback forms to be sent out to attendees. (ALL to discuss).
All - To look at digital training, creating a message board system on the website and a time line for implementation (March 09 being the tentative date for).
Finance
GA to meet with UKBA and MB to discuss NRUC
MG & GA - to draft info on what are the benefits of NRUC to UKBA & Las and financial requirements.
RE - Contact Diane Lantham at Liverpool and arrange for help with entering their details onto NRUC. (RE has arranged to do telephone training/inputting with Liverpool on 30.12.08).
MG - to speak to Brian Andrews & Simon Bannister re. Grant Claim.
Pilot Project
Name change to - UKBA Data Feed
MG - let Project Board know that improvement of CID feed is required for further progression.
ALL - Discuss possibility of LA NRUC record auditing.
ALL - Identify what is needed to further NRUC's “Missing & Trafficked Children” capabilities and who it will benefit.
UKBA to provide weekly information on datafeed.
Communications
ADCS Conference - NRUC fringe session was of low attendance [Author ID1: at Wed Jun 10 11:45:00 2009 ]NRUC to look at increased marketing to generate greater awareness or link into a policy session. (TBD).
(GA) to speak with Mark Brangwyn re. Sending information to David Lammy (Labour MP for Tottenham - http://www.davidlammy.co.uk/da/12244) about NRUC, as Mr Lammy mentioned unaccompanied minors vulnerability during a recent BBC interview regarding the recent events at Haringey.
It was agreed that an `all angles' approach should be adopted in efforts to increase communications with LAs. A definitive list of NRUC users, Directors, LA managers to be created for mailing list. (TBD)
NRUC will also look for additional & appropriate partners to link into, e.g. Kidscope/NSPCC/ Refugee Childrens Consortium. (TBD)
RE - Create list of Current NRUC users by LA & LAs submitting monthly data sheets.
GA - to use this info to request Regional Asylum Consortiums help with contacting LAs.

ALL - To review NRUC within the Business Plan and think of other avenues NRUC can benefit via post brainstorming meeting

RE - To research Freedom of Info Act and possible revenues from external application for data.
