How many voluntary redundancies have not be accepted?

The request was successful.

Debbie Spencer

Dear Sir or Madam,

Considering Nottingham City Council (NCC)will be making compulsory redundancies,I would like to know answers to the following

1.The total number of voluntary redundancy (VR) requests received by NCC up to and including 30 April 2009.

2.How many of these VR requests were accepted?

3.How much in £s will the accepted VRs cost the council?

4.The total number of VRs that were not accepted for what ever reason.

Yours faithfully,

Debbie Spencer

Dear Madam,

You wrote to me informing me that I would receive a response by NO LATER than 2 June 2009. Today is 11 June and I am still waiting for this response to my FOI request.

Under the Freedom of Information Act you should have met this deadline and by not meeting it you are breaking the law.

Debbie Spencer

Would you please:

1. Supply the information I requested under the FOI
2. Inform me as to why you failed to meet the deadline or inform me that you could not meet that deadline. The FOI was hardly a lengthy enquiry.

Yours sincerely,

Debbie Spencer
