Freedom of Information Request - Schools for the Deaf in Wales
Thank you for your request which was received by the Assembly Government on 28 April 2009. You asked for:
What specialist schools (in terms of support for the child's social, emotional, cultural and linguistic development) did north and south Wales offer to profoundly deaf children from 1996 to April 2009; and
How many profoundly deaf children (ie only able to communicate through sign language) are currently in Wales.
