I am writing in response to your request for information of 27 April 2009.

The information you require about the number of students graduating with first degrees from the University of the West of England is as follows:

2006 - 4344

2007 - 4214

2008 - 4254

Regarding your other questions about requests from external individuals or organisations for confirmation of degree qualifications, we are unable to provide a response as the University does not hold the information. The University receives hundreds of requests both to the faculties and the Academic Registry, of which records are not kept.
