Dear Mr Todd,
Thank you for your e-mail of 12th February in response to my reply of 4th February regarding the statistical information which I provided in relation to sections 132 to 138 of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005.
I released to you the statistical information which the Public Order Unit holds.
The material covered statistics for mass lone demonstrations in September to December 2006, arrest/charging data for section 132 and 134 offences and the demonstrations notified to police between 1 August 2005 to end 2006 under section 133.
I can confirm that we do not hold similar lists of arrest and notification data for 2007. The only data we have, based on information provided by the Metropolitan Police, is that there were over 3000 demonstrations notified to the police in 2007 under section 133 of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005.
