FREEDOM OF INFORMATION REQUEST REFERENCE NO: 165-09-233 
 
I write in connection with your request for information received on 20th  April  2009.                 
I have repeated your questions below for ease of reference. 
 
Please supply the following information under the Freedom of Information Act.  
Q1. How many people were arrested for soliciting prostitutes or kerb crawling by 
Surrey police in each month of 2008.  
Q2.  Of those arrested in each month the number who were 
a) released without charge 
b) cautioned 
c) charged 
d) fined 
e) If none of the above can be applied to each arrest I would like to know how the 
crime was dealt with. 
 
A1-2. No persons were arrested by Surrey Police for soliciting prostitutes or kerb 
crawling in 2008. 
 
Surrey Police provides you the right to request a re-examination of your case under its 
review procedure. How to do this is set out in the attached Appeals Notice.  Having 
followed the full procedure, if you are still dissatisfied, then you have the right to direct 
your comments to the Information Commissioner who will give your case 
consideration.
