RE: Response to Freedom of Information (FOI) request - 3734.

Thank you for your e-mail dated 06 May 2009, in relation to the above.

In response, I can confirm that the redirect in question was initially to the Google.com search page. However, this redirect included a pre-populated search for pornographic material, which included links to and summary text from pornographic web sites.

I can only re-iterate that access to such material is disallowed in accordance with the City Council's Internet Access Policy. As a result, a block was implemented by the City Council's IT Department.
