I am writing to confirm that the Agency has now completed its search for the information you
requested on 8 April 2009.
Subject:
1.  Please could you provide the average number of sick days staff took during 2008,
and further breakdown of the figure showing the average for male and female
staff separately.

2.  Also, according to the Annual Report, DVLA has several ‘Directorates’. Please
provide the sick rate for each of these departments and again further broken
down to male and female sick leave.

3.  If the figures are not readily available for the calendar year 2008, then use the
financial year or any other recent 12-month period.

You have the right to complain about the way in which your request for information was
handled and/or about the decision not to disclose all or part of the information requested. In
addition a complaint can be made that DfT has not complied with its FOI publication
scheme.
Your complaint will be acknowledged and you will be advised of a target date by which to
