Dear Mr Dunschen,

Freedom of Information Request 58072 - Review of Regeneration in South Granby.

I refer to your recent FOI request in connection with the regeneration proposals for Granby South.

Other than the minutes and handouts from the Granby Community Partnership (GCP) meetings, which you receive being a member of the group, there is no specific correspondence which focuses on reviewing the regeneration proposals in light of the current economic climate.

What we do have as a consequence of the downturn, and which has been made known to the GCP, is a revised set of costings and revenues from the developer, Lovell, which are currently being scrutinised by our quantity surveyors and valuers within the Council's external property advisor, 2020. This information is commercially confidential to the developer, and as such, is not available for wider dissemination, but an overview of the information will be presented to the GCP as part of the consultation process prior to reporting the latest position to the Council's Executive Board.

In addition to minutes, you will appreciate that the regular attendance of Lovells at the GCP meetings enables the group to receive verbal updates from the developer, and also allows members to ask questions as they feel appropriate.

One piece of information I can supply in connection with your request, is a briefing note which was prepared earlier this year for the purpose of updating the Leader of the Council and the Executive Member for Safer, Stronger Communities on progress relating to the Granby Renewal Area ( please see attached ).

I trust that this information is of assistance,

Yours sincerely
