The functions previously carried out by Community Services and Glasgow Community Safety Partnership have now transferred to a new organisation Glasgow Community & Safety Services, a company established in October 2006 to prevent crime, tackle antisocial behaviour, and promote community safety in Glasgow. GCSS provides environmental enhancement services to tackle fly-tipping, graffiti, and de-littering. It proactively links the Crime and Grime agendas and seeks to progress integrated solutions. GCSS also issues Fixed Penalty Notices.
For the purposes of the Freedom of Information legislation GCSS is not deemed to be part of Glasgow City Council. I would therefore suggest that you submit your Freedom of Information to GCSS as per the contact details below:-
Davy Macdonald, Assistant Operations Manager, Strategic Development Group, Glasgow Community & Safety Services, 5th Floor, 11 Hope Street, Glasgow,

The Council accordingly has complied with your request. If, however, you are of the opinion that this is not the case please contact my Office Manager, Jim Donaldson at the telephone number detailed above.
Yours sincerely
Robert Booth
