Thank you for your request of 1 April 2009 under the Freedom of Information Act. 
 
You asked to know how many vacancies were advertised within our department on 1 April 
2009 broken down into those advertised internally and externally. 
  
The Wales Office is a small department and part of the much larger Ministry of Justice for 
administrative purposes. The Wales Office itself only advertises internally within the Civil 
Service and there were no vacancies advertised here on 1 April 2009.   
 
If you are unhappy with the decision made in relation to your request, you may ask for an
