Request for Information - Ministry of Defence (MoD) Job Vacancies

Thank you for your correspondence which has been considered to be a request for information in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOI 2000).

Your request: Can you tell me the number of job vacancies currently advertised within your department on this day 01/04/2009 broken down into those advertised internally and those advertised externally?

On the 1st April 2009 305 external posts (requisitions) and 692 internal requisitions were advertised. Please note that a requisition can, on occasion, be raised to fill more than one vacancy. However the majority of requisitions advertised represent a single vacancy.

If you are not satisfied with this response or you wish to complain about any aspect of the handling of your request, then you should contact me in the first instance.
